Leadership Transition at SafeBridge Consultants

October 15, 2015

Effective October 16, 2015, founding President and CEO, John Farris, will step down from his leadership role in the company in order to pursue the next phase of his life and career. John will continue to be associated with the firm in a limited role as a consultant on business strategy and client crisis management projects where his skills and experience can assist the team. Paul Greywall, PE, Director at Trinity Consultants, parent company of SafeBridge, will take over as interim leader of SafeBridge until the selection of a permanent leader. Other senior staff including Allan Ader - Vice President and Principal Toxicologist; Teresa Bryning – Vice President and Principal Chemist; Robert Sussman – Principal Toxicologist and Managing Principal of Eastern Operations; Justin Mason-Home - Managing Director of European Operations; and Brent Altemose - Principal Industrial Hygienist will continue to serve clients with the same exacting standards that have characterized SafeBridge since its inception.

Commenting on his transition, John Farris noted, “More than 20 years ago, in the spring of 1995, plans for the formation of SafeBridge were made. Since then, the company and the brand have grown beyond the founders’ most optimistic expectations. With great appreciation and warm feelings for my clients and colleagues at SafeBridge and Trinity, I look forward to a new stage of life that includes more personal time as well as a strategic role with the company I helped build. In nearly 40 years as a health and safety professional, I have been fortunate to have had a number of challenging opportunities that tested my abilities to the limit and resulted in a level of success I did not anticipate in the early days. SafeBridge has an unmatched staff of seasoned professionals, supported by an excellent and accomplished parent company in Trinity, to continue to provide the highest level of services to clients and their workers. That is something I will always keep with me.”

Paul Greywall added, “It has been an absolute pleasure working with John over the past three years since SafeBridge became part of the Trinity Consultants family. John leaves SafeBridge in the very capable hands of the senior team who provide extremely valuable technical support to client companies. Although we will miss John’s day-to-day involvement with the business, we are enthusiastic about the future of SafeBridge, both for the career opportunities it provides to its employees and the value it delivers to its clients in the areas of occupational health science and toxicology.”
