Kent Rader is the Manager of Analytical Laboratory Business Development with SafeBridge Consultants, Inc. His professional expertise is in laboratory operations, quality assurance, method development and business development. Since beginning his career as a quality assurance chemist, he has worked for 21 years in the pharmaceutical and food industries. In the field of industrial hygiene analysis, he has particular expertise in pharmaceutical method development and analysis, pharmaceutical exposure assessment strategies, analysis of laboratory data, and quality assurance. Mr. Rader was previously Business Unit Manager at the Eurofins Scientific Inc., Supplemental Analysis Center for two years. Prior to that, he was had spent 18 years at the Bureau Veritas Lake Zurich IH Laboratory. During that time, he spent 5 years as the Business Unit Manager, 4 years in Management of Laboratory Operations, 5 years as the Quality Assurance Manager and 4 years in analytical Method Development of Pharmaceuticals. Kent started his career as a quality assurance chemist at Abbott Laboratories in their Hospital Product Division.
Mr. Rader has been an active member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association. He has chaired the Pharmaceutical Round Robin Committee and is a past member of the Laboratory Quality Assurance Program and the Technical Advisory Panel for Industrial Hygiene. In 2003, he was recognized by AIHA as the Technical Reviewer of the year. Mr. Rader has presented at the AIHCe numerous times and has also given laboratory presentations at local AIHA meetings and Safety conferences. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
